I was wondering if anybody know what the general timeline is like for entry level full time actuarial analysts, for both consulting and insurance companies.
When does most of these positions usually start recruit? I know several firms have posted at my school's career website (I'm located in NYC), but there are still many that I haven't seen (have neither posted at my school nor on their own career site). Does these firms just recruit later than others? Or are they just not hiring at all.....
Also, when does recruiting usually end for entry levels? By the time of the Actuarial Career Fair at Columbia (usually January) will most entry level FT positions be filled up?
Any insight is appreciated! Thanks a lot guys!
