I'm registered to take exam P, and I'm wondering what study manual most people are using.
Also I'm trying to decide between Ostaszewski's manual, ACTEX manual, and Ramanathan's manual. Are they all basically the same? any reason why ACTEX is a tad bit cheaper?
BTW, anyone here from altantic canada?
thanks a lot

hi alice. i am using Dr. Ostaszweski's manual. the reason for that is he is very helpful. if u ask him any question by email or post it on the forum, he replies it with the answer, so that way using his manual could be quite helpful, also he has been teaching for exam p for a very long time, so i m sure he has covered every material in his manual. so............ i m using his manual. i do not know about other authors a lot. good luck.

I used BPP and I thought it was pretty good. It is arranged in an order that is easy to read and understand.

I used Actex. There were a lot of review problems. There were 5 practice tests in the back. I sent the author emails whenever I had questions and he responded promptly. I didn't use any of the other manuals so I cannot say which one is the best. But I just took the exam yesterday and I felt that Actex prepared me well.

If you don't mind me asking...did you pass exam P? I'm almost finished with the BPP manual now and I'm curious if I should go on to taking practice tests or if I should supplement my studying with another study guide. Thanks for any advice
