No VEE, Bad News?

How important is it that you get VEE credit? Is it just as important as passing an exam or is it more like "something extra" that just sorta looks nice and makes you (at least appear) more qualified?

Obviously, exams look better but having the fact that I had VEE coursework completed was definitely a plus while interviewing. In addition, its an easy way to get some credit towards your ASA or ACAS.

VEE varies in difficulty depending on what school or test you take to get it, it's more like something extra. The whole point of moving it out of the exam was because it was useful, but not something you needed to know at the level to take an exam on.
