well u must have guessed im a newbie here...let me begin by introducing myself...
Im Mehrnawaz ,a graduate from Bombay,India
i am keen on pursuing Actuarial Science as a profession.I am deeply interested in studying the Diploma/MSc Programme in Actuarial science at the reputed Cass Business School, London and furthermore wish to work in London itself.
On the downside I lack accurate and reliable information on how to achieve the above and there are not many people/agents here to guide me through the procedures/steps to be taken.
I would b very glad if you took the time to look into the matter n help me out in someway...
1.If possible,could any practising actuary(no matter what post or field) just brief me in on thier routine.let me in on what they love about thier work,the difficulties and challenges,the pay,etc.
2.I would lovv to know if there are any alumini or current students of Cass Business School, n share some insights about the course offered by them.
3.am i required to register with the actuarial society of india at first?even though i want to work and settle in uk or travel else where...
4.is it even possible for me(considerin the visas/fees/immigrations) to achieve the above.
5.my brother is in australia, and so it is in fact easier for me to study and settle there,but inspite of australia not being my first prefernce if uk is nowhere close to possible,i would lik sum information about the institutes/work opportunities in australia.
these are just a few of the queries ...i would be indeed glad if anyone could guide me in anyway...thanks and have a nice day. Buh bye!
