Hi everybody,

I am a new member of the site. I just had my P1 exam and I don't think I did well. Do you have any suggestions of what other problems I should be looking at besides the 123 questions they post on the soa.org website?

Thank you.

A study manual. I used ASM. One thing is definitely true, the SOA 123 will not prepare you for the exam. They are too easy.

Unless you could do all in short time at the first look at the SOA123, then, that is quite good.

I agree that it could get you a borderline pass on exam P, but for the later exams it would really help you if you understood the material at a deeper level than is required to complete the SOA 123.

Thank you for your answer.

Also, can you please tell me what is the ASM?

It is the manual written by my advisor, Dr. Ostaszewski. Find places to buy it on my post here:

Thank you again!

I already bought it. It has a lot of problems. I can't believe I missed that before. Well, hopefully this manual will help me pass the exam.

Thanx.
