Hi there, can any one kelp to chose the best option to buy a calculator, cause i have to take the FM exam and also i wanna know the ideal calculator that i would use during the evolving of the actuarial career. thanks from Bolivia

You really don't have that many choices. Most people bring either BA35 or BA II P. series along with the TI30X II

How about TI-30XA? Is financial calculator helpful for FM exam?

You'll definately want a financial calculator for the FM exam. Not having one will put you at a huge dissadvantage and the test makers assume that you will be using one when they write many of the questions. I used the BA 35, which is less then $20. More expensive models have more features, but are also harder to use and not necesarily better.
