Hi All ,

I am Bacholers in Statistics and I have passed two exams from Society of Actuaries. I am trying to get an entry level job in an actuarial field. With this background will i get an entry level job ? And most importantly I want to know whether the company will sponsor my work visa ?
I currently have H1 B work visa , will any company give me job in an actuarial field ?
Thanks in advance.

I work for Watson Wyatt (www.watsonwyatt.com) and they would definitely be interested in someone with your background- having already passed two exams. They also sponsor work visas- one of my coworkers is from Jamaica. If you want more information on our locations and available positions- contact me or look around the careers link on our website.

Good Luck!

I don't know if I contacted you on another thread. I live in the Philly area. I have no exams passed but I have the extreme desire to make this career change. I have a reference over at one company that claims I don't need any parts passed and I applied for Towers and WW(but the jobs may have been filled). Anyway, maybe we could talk some time. Have a Happy New Year.
