I am currently a junior at Georgia State University, studying Accounting but interested in switching to Actuarial Science. As a math lover, this field has more to offer me than Accounting, which I've realized only involves basic math. I am sure that switching majors this late in the game means it will take longer for me to graduate, so I'm really thinking long and hard about this decision. I started doing a bit of research on actuarial science, and it's peaked my interest tremendously, more than I can say for the major I'm in right now. By the way, I'm not bashing accountants or anything like that, I just don't really think it's for me. I am excited about this though; I even started answering some of the sample questions for the different exams, lol. Does anyone have any advice for me? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

LOL welcome to the actuarial field then*if you're really planning to switch majors*~~!!!! I guess most people's advice will be get at least one exam under your belt as soon as possible. With your enthusiasm, i'm sure u'll be able to hold on under the possible stress you may be facing when you're studying for the exams. Good luck and all the best~~!!!! XD
