It seems my analysis was spot on -- 16 correct is the unofficial pass mark for (Spring 2007) MLC.

I guess I'm missing the logic behind why you really think the pass mark will be 18 or 19, or maybe 17. You must be making some judgement about the sample size this time around -- thinking perhaps...

After reading a few other forums, and looking at polls of MLC scores from this sitting and last November's sitting, I would say the pass mark will be 15 or 16.

This is the question I was trying to finish just before time was called. This is how I remember going about it:

A**50 = A**53 = [1-(.06/1.06)(10)] = .434

A**50 = (1-x)/1.06 + (x/1.06)(A**51)
...

If anyone remembers any of the letter answers, I memorized my first 10 (7 of which I think I have correct) before I left and wouldn't mind comparing... I'll post those later today.

I also thought MLC was overly difficult and, more importantly, much different from the past exams and practice questions that were available.
