Hello,

I passed the P exam recently and is looking for study materials for the FM exam. I used TIA to prepare for P and they are great! I am wondering if anyone is using them for FM.

I used TIA for P and I am again for FM. I havent really started studying all that hard yet so I cant really say too much. I am assuming it will be just as valuable as it was for me with P.

I used BPP for Exam P and passed. I was thinking about either BPP again or TIA. Honestly, TIA looks like a better program with more stuff, but it also $450 vs $270 for BPP so I am torn. I don't really have the cash to sink into it right now.

I am not planning on taking the exam in December. Probably will wait until Feb. Hopefully I can afford the materials and find the time and not have to wait until May.

i'm using the textbook listed by the manuel. i can't tell the difference.

BPP is a lot like TIA. They sell a study material package. You can sample of the of the materials they offer online. Since I am familiar with them and not TIA, I have no way to compare them. And, as I assume everyone uses one or the other one, I assume no one is actually capable of making a valid comparison.

Does the TIA, material come with a textbook?

No, TIA does not come with a textbook, all notes, problems and solutions are available in PDF file. :smiloe:

I went with TIA. There are a couple of neat features.

1) Teaches you how to use the calculator for the appropriate problems.
2) Downloadable MP3 files of the lectures. I dont know how much help they will be, but they are there. I can listen to them on my 1 hour drive to and from work.
