    Worth passing exams ?

Do you think it is worth for a fully qualified european (non UK) actuary to pass SOA exams if I do not plan to work outside Europe ?

SOA is worldwide recognized whereas european qualifications are not (or really less), so it could be a plus ... or maybe not.

No, I'm a Fellow of the Belgian Institute of Actuaries, which is recognized in Europe but not as much as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (or even UK's Institute of Actuaries).
I work in ALM and ERM in a top 3 european insurance company.

    exams..

if the institute of actuaries recognizes your exams or studying from belgium you can apply for CT exemptions and from their apply for the SOA exemptions....

dont really see a point to write the exams or become a part of the SOA unless you want to move though...
