Taking Exam C before Exam M

Hi,

I was planning on taking Exam C in November even though I haven't taken Exam M. Is this okay? Has anyone done this before? I'm a little concerned because i know that Exam M covers some of the material that is needed for Exam C and I'm worried that I'd be at a disadvantage taking Exam C first. Any opinions? Also what manuals are good for Exam C and Exam M. I really enjoyed the ASM manual for Exam FM but would like feedback from others. thanks.

I'm in the same situation and i bought a study manual for exam C.
As soon as exam C material arrived, I bought an online textbook for exam MFE and signed up for the exam.
I feel like I can get a stats M.S. in 6 months if i can pass exam C.
