    Can I become an actuary?

I am currently studying in an IB school. My subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at higher level, English and Economics at standard level and Spanish ab initio.I also love Mathematics. The more difficult it gets, the more interesting it becomes. I plan on becoming an engineer and then while I have become one, become an Actuary.
I intend to first become an engineer because becoming a good Actuary takes a lot of years and till then I will not be having anything to do. But Actuary and engineer are two different people- I am confused.
Is it possible to do what I am doing? Will I be able to become an actuary? What are its requirements? Can an engineer become an actuary?
If it is possible, then how do I go about it?
    Please help me out!!!

If you want to be an actuary, be an actuary. If you want to be an engineer, be an engineer. If you want to be both, you're going to end up wasting a chunk of time that would have been better spent on the one (1) career path you really want to finish on.

    Okay...
What should I do now if I want to become an actuary and not an engineer? With the subject combinations that I have taken, how do I go about it? What type of university do I apply to?

Depends on what country you're in. See the requirements for that specific country, and work backwards from there to determine (A) what university, and (B) what courses you need.
