Tables on the Exam?

in number six on page 2, it says

"A copy of the mathematical tables to be included with this examination are cnclosed..."

Then, at the end, there's a table with values for the Normal and Chi-Squared distributions. After that, there's appendices from Loss Models containing information about various distributions.

So my question is, will these appendices be on the exam?

If you look at it carefully, everything is there (in your link). The normal and chi square table are before the distributions.

I know it's all in the link, but are they really giving us all that information about the distributions on the exam? I guess I'm just shocked by their generosity and can't really believe that they'd give us that much information while we're taking the exam.

If they are going to give us that much, then I can focus on other things besides memorizing the details about those distributions that I've forgotten since I was in school. If not, then I'll have to go about dredging that info from the depths of my memory.

It's so you don't focus your time on memorizing useless distrubutions that you would look up in a book if you were to use them in any other environment.

The same tables were provided with exam M in fall. It's very useful.
