    Interpersonal Skills

So i'm in school and ive pretty much decided that i want a job that is heavy on interpersonal skills and public speaking because i love/am great at those things.

On the other hand, I love the work that actuaries do especially in P&C.

Basically my question is that do actuaries have opportunities use interpersonal skills.

    Yes.

At some point you will have to work alongside, for example, lawyers, marketers, management, accountants, underwriters, agents... a bunch of people who aren't actuaries. And for that matter, you'll have to work alongside other actuaries. You will have to interact and having interpersonal skills makes that easier.
