Hi. I'm interested in the profession. I have an undergrad business degree, decision and info. sciences from Florida, and about 4-5 years of experience in Oracle programming/data warehousing. It seems that all I would need to do is take an exam or 2, and I could make entry into the field. How are the job prospects in the US? Charlotte, particularly? Would I basically be starting from scratch salary wise or could I leverage my current experience so I won't have to take a pay cut (I make in the mid 60's now)? How long does it take to study for the first exam? Thanks for any help.
