I am studying for the actuary exams and I am happy every time I hear about how difficult the exams are. I look at the CPA examination that only allow accounting majors to sit them. I wonder why though seeing that anyone who passes the exam should have the capabilities of an accountant. So, the big question is why limit the pool. I think that it is because colleges do such a piss poor job of teaching and they are using these filters to hide the fact. I believe that if you studied in college and still can't pass the entry level exams then college didn't prepare you properly. Please give your comments.
