I have the ACTEX study guides from 2004. It is divided into two sections. The first is Algebra/Calculus Review and the second is Probability Review. Since the exam is changed for 2005 should I only study the Probability section? And are there any additional areas I should focus on? Thanks.

There is new material on exam P, concerning a variety of probability distributions, and multivariate normal distribution in particular, as well as random samples and order statistics. It is generally not a good idea to try to save money by using old manuals. The difference between a 5 and a 6 is one problem, and if that problem is on the new topic, you just saved yourself about eighty bucks and wasted half a year of study time. You need to study these new topics.

Best of luck,
