Dr. Weishaus,

The solution to Question 9 of ASM 3L Exam 1 is using a Ki-Square with 5 Degree of Freedom (i.e. 11.07). My understanding is that since the sample size is 5, we should use a Ki-Square with 4 Degree of Freedom (i.e. 9.49), making Answer "E" the correct answer.

Could you please exaplain why the solution is using a degree of freedon equal to the sample size?
