EA-2B before EA-2A

Hi:

I just passed the MLC exam, which combined with passing the FM exam waives my requirement for the EA-1 exam. I'm now planning on taking the EA-2 exams, both A and B, but I read that they build on each other, and I'd have to wait 10 months before taking the A exam.

I wanted to know how important it is to take the EA-2A before you take the EA-2B. Does anyone have experience with taking these exams recently? Thanks for your help!

I don't think it matters if you take EA-2B before EA-2A.

I'm in the same boat. The good news is: If we don't make it this time, there's always next May! I've looked at some past exams (most recent ones as they deal with PPA), and they don't seem to be difficult calculations. You just have to know a lot of different stuff. Yeah ERISA!
