What does a Health actaury do?

And where can I find out more information about them?
  2. Recruiters ... if you have experience with them, share your thoughts please

So when you first contacted a recruiting agency in order to enlist their help, how long did it take before you heard anything back from them?
  3. So what if you didn't get an internship before you graduated?

So I've done some research and what I'm reading in this forum is pretty much in agreement with what I'm seeing in the job market. Internships are required. BUT, I have a hard time believing that...
  4. So I passed P and FM. Which one should I do next?

I've decided that I am not going to attempt taking two exams at a time again. Once was enough. I've heard exam M is harder than exam C. Now I know I'm going to have to take both of them anyway,...

But honestly, I will NEVER attempt 2 at one time again. That whole ordeal was just insane.

''', I see the panic button got pressed somewhere along the way. Here is the way I see it (and yes I also think the tests were easier this time around).

I think the SOA was just testing one thing...

I remember this question too. I believe it was testing on the additive property as well. You had to add up the means of the months it was testing and use that as your mean for a poisson...

I can't remember exactly what the question asked, I just remember that it said to approximate it with the normal distribution. I think there were three parts to this question:

This exam was significantly easier than the old course 1 exam (in my humble opinion). Do you think 70% will still hold for this one? I sure do hope so because I know I had to have gotten 21 answers...

What did everyone think of the exam?

I had to guess on six of them. The exam was still easier than I had anticipated though. That actually makes me nervous because that means it will take more correct answers to pass.

    Better than 11/04 for me

Well, I can definitely say that I did a lot better on this exam than I did back in 11/04. For 24 of the questions, the answer I calculated was one of the choices (doesn't mean I got it right, but...

I wish I had the ability to memorize everything I encountered, but alas I can't memorize everything. I have made a conscious choice that I am not going to waste memory space on the gamma, weibull,...
