wait, prepaid forward price= (initial stock price)- PV(Div) for discrete dividends. why are you then accumulating with (1+i)^3?
weren't there 3 dividends, i could have read the problem wrong.
thanks all, that should help!
I was wondering what everyone is doing to prepare for the new FM exam material. For example, are you only studying from a manual? Or maybe you are using the suggested reading "Derivatives Market". ...
yes, i am in new jersey. currently, i am trying for work right here in NJ. if i don't get these interviews then i will start looking in NYC where there are probably even more opportunities.

Any advice before my first lunch interview next week? i will be going to lunch with 4 other people. of course, they will be conducting a formal interview before lunch. what do you think?
i absolutely agree that scores are not necessary on resumes. but i was made to feel as though my score of 8 was sub par.
Hi, just wanted to ask you guys what you think about this...
A recruiter today told me that i should try to avoid the fact that i received a score of 8 on exam P on my resume and in interviews....
i got my score today as well, passed with an 8!! this was my second try...first time i got a 4. so i am happy!
'''!! thank goodness you have a second chance at passing!!!
yes, i definitely am over it now!!

I passed!!! :D
i won't know for sure! but i have a very good idea of how many i got right. debating the passing score will serve to relieve my anxiety somewhat.
other forums have posted some fun debates on this...
GOOD CATCH RUSDUDE!! :o
of course we're own our own about the passing score!! that is why i wanted to open a debate about it!!
anyone have any last thoughts of what the passing score will be? i have horribly been over analyzing it over the past couple months. i'm still keeping my fingers crossed for 17/25!!!
did anyone...
i was just thinking, you can actually find it on one of three documents....
#1 your confirmation letter that the soa sent you in the mail.
#2 on the paper they gave you when leaving the exam...
i am waiting for results on P and FM. what happens if i only pass one of them? should i only get half a pizza?
PIZZA!!
i just had to do a retake of P myself. i can tell you that the numbers are not the same, i checked.
on friday at about 3pm they will post a list containing all passing candidate numbers.so make sure you have your number before then.
i guess the majority of the scores will be sent out on this day...
