what after FM?

I need some advise here as I am completely clueless...I guess after FM Exam 3 is different for both SOA and CAS (or not bcoz i think i read somewhere that there will be a common Exam 3 in 2008)...I dont know what field I want to pursue life or casualty....thus dont knw which exam to take..how much difference does it make...can i switch later....thanks for your help...

since Exam MFE gives you credit for both SOA and CAS (and since you aren't in a certain field yet), i'd recommend taking that.

Also, I think "C" gives the credit for both. Isn't it?

i don't believe that MLC is jointly sponsored.

yes, it is possible to register for both MFE and C at the same time. i personally wouldn't recommend it, though. i know that C is extremely hard. i'd recommend focusing on one exam at a time.

i don't think passing 3 exams is "too many". passing 4-5 before your first job probably is.

I guess they have released the dates...and the proposed dates are 15th May for M and 14th for C

It is mostly statistics, if you have background in statistics it is actually not hard at all.
