Where to write "Passed Exam P/1" on Resume?

    Hi,

I will be taking the Probability Exam in September, and have a career fair to attend soon after.

Last year, companies would ask me if I had any tests passed yet, and my answer would unfortunately be no.

So let's say hypothetically, I passed the first exam. Should I write in on my resume? And if so, where should I put it?

    My resume looks like this...

    __________________________________________________ __________
    name and contact info
    __________________________________________________ __________
    Education.......
    __________________________________________________ __________
    Work Experience.........
    __________________________________________________ __________
    Activities...........
    __________________________________________________ __________
    Skills...............
    __________________________________________________ __________

Thanks for your help in advance people,
    BigCat

I always listed it after education but before "relevant courses". If you have applicapable work experience, that should go before "relevant courses" as well.

What do we usually put in relevant courses? I can't possibly fill in all courses I've taken before and are pretty relevant to actuarial science.

    Hey,

I've never had a "Relevant Courses" section to mine. My plan is to just ask the department adviser for Actuarial Science to review my resume in office hours once school starts. Only 2 weeks and back to coolidge

This summer has been dragging out lately and focusing/studying for the exam is becoming more and more difficult. (The problems are getting easier... Just forcing myself to study is harder.. haha)

I put mine under education, together with my CGPA.

In addition to the good posts above, make sure it's very clear. I actually had a separate section on mine - Actuarial Exams Passed. But this probably isn't necessary as long as it can be found easily.

If it takes the reviewer longer than a second to find that you passed P/1, you made them look too long.
