So... he did it? Amazing!
I think I get the controversy though. From what we can read he had 0 exams in Jan-2011 and ASA in August-2011, even though his "plan" has exams planned in November-2011 and Feb-2012 or something.
I'd really like to know about which he passed when. That would be such a cool story, but I can see how it's unlikely to do it from Jan-Aug unless all six exams took place in that time frame. In any case I'm glad he didn't give up, and also think it's cool that he challenged the "1 exam per 6 month" thing and blazed a trail.
mandersonjr... give us some details. ^_^

So are you an FSA yet?
Much needed bump, but he's probably too busy studying for the bar in all 50 states to see it!

I actually left the actuarial field for a big data job. Modeling/R/Python/SQL can land you some nice jobs. I hope all is well with everyone!
Kudos Mr. Anderson.
I work in the "BIG DATA" field too (Vertica, HIVE) after two years in a SQL Server environment. We should chat. Heck, I work at a great company, with over 100 employees and a global footprint. We have several offices in the US. Would totally refer you in exchange for some standardized test war stories. Lol.
