    temporary life annuity

Definition of the APV of a n-year life annuity :

    23-6-2553 23-20-28.jpg

Why do we have to plus the latter, nPx*a_bar angle n , in the equation ?

I think it's over much because the integral is already included the case of the annuity n years. :madguy:

Not sure what you wrote there. Is this something out of Bowers?

it's just a definition. If you use ASM's 10edition , you will see that on page 323 . I will try to retype the symbols above.

I passed MLC awhile ago so I don't even know where my ASM manual is. If you know TeX, type the "code" and then I can look at it on MimiTeX

If you die within n years you get \bar{a}_{t} - you integrate with respect to t. If you survive you get an n-year one.

now I try to prove it from the double expectation theorem on condition " t<n and t=n" , which will get the same answer as the definition. (it infers that the former and the latter come from what ,which is mathematically true.)

    Thank you for every answer!
