    Community College Courses

    Hi,

I'm thinking of taking some courses at the community college near me. Here's a link to my resume: http://scr.bi/ccarbonellResume. Does anyone have suggestions for courses I could take that would help strengthen my resume?

    Thanks!

Are there any Economics, Statistics, and Corporate Finance Courses? That would fulfill your VEE

Otherwise I don't think Community Colleges really have classes that would prepare you for Actuarial work especially since you minored in it.

Ah, great suggestion! I don't know how I forgot about that.

How about management or programming courses? Would any of those look good on my resume?

If your community college offers a SAS course or another statistical software type course, then I would recommend that. Management/communication type courses wouldn't hurt but I don't think they would add enough value to warrant the time and cost.
