I am going to buy some used FM prep manuals from 2007 and 2008 and I was wondering how the FM syllabus has changed in the last 3-4 years? Would these manuals still be useful?
Thanks

There have been no changes in the syllabus since 2007. There have been changes in the format of the exam (no. of questions, length, CBT, etc.) Currently, there are 35 questions, several of which (probably 5) are pilot question and are not graded. However, you will have no way of knowing which questions are the pilot questions. The exam length is 3 hours.
