I have a rather strange question. I live in Lawrence, Kansas -- which is 35 miles west of Kansas City's burgeoning hip-hop scene. As you no doubt know, some hip-hop performers do material that many find objectionable -- in some cases, attracting the audience to match.
I learned that some such acts come to Lawrence because no one will insure them to play at a larger Kansas City venue. I assume that an actuary somewhere deals with that sort of thing. How does one "assign a number" to that sort of risk?
