trader for past 15 years needs advice

I have been a trader for the past 15 years and looking to change careers into the actuarial field, but outside of the FM exam, which I feel I could pass tomorrow with my eyes closed, but outside of that exam. I have not had high math in over 20 plus years. Is it possible to learn with self-study or is it fully necessary to have a great grasp of calculus? Need advice

It's doable by self-study, but proficiency in calculus is essential since it's used almost everywhere in the preliminary exams. I'm not knowledgeable of MLC's written portion, but the "old" MLC involved calculus all the way through.

Calculus is needed in the exams for manipulating density distributions, parameters, etc. Furthermore, a good portion of MFE is about stochastic calculus, which I don't imagine handling without enough background in differential & integral calculus.
