    FSA vs EA

Can anyone explain FSA vs EA? I can't find any explanation about EA in SOA's education catalog.

    EA means enrolled Actuary

I believe I saw EA somewhere. It is Enrolled Actuary. Try to google it online, you definitely can find some useful information.

    Enrolled Actuary

An enrolled actuary specifically relates to Pension work. You also must have 3 years of experience in the work force in Pension, plus take the EA exams, before you can get EA accredidation. Where an FSA can also deal with Pensions, you may also choose the exams for your FSA to go in a different direction. Also, You must become an ASA before you can attain your FSA.

Many EAs also get ASA, then FSA. It can enhance your work, especially if in consulting, but it is not essential.
I thought this WAS a real job
