DC Metro Area

Hi All,

I am considering changing careers to become an Actuary. However, for family reasons I'm basically rooted in the DC Metro area right now.

Does anyone have any information or know where to get any information on the demand for Actuaries in the DC Metro area? How difficult is it to find a job with one or two exams?

For what it's worth, Geico Insurance seems to post continuously for entry-level actuarial positions on the jobs board of this very website. I think :skeptical: that they may be based out of Chevy Chase, Maryland.
