Folowing Combination ?

Hi, I am new to this form. I am planning to pursue a career in Acturial Science. I am currently pursuing a 3 year degree in Mathematical Science and planning to do second major in Economics (Honors).

I am taking Economics, Stats and Calculus coures at my University.
Just wondering is this a good background to pursue a career in Acturial Science?

I will be appearing for first exam next summer.
