    resume critique anyone?

Hi everyone... I am a sophomore in college, and I had to make my resume, not only for internships but other networking events such as MonsterDLP program and other programs. I wanted some critique on the resume I have posted so that I could work on rectifying the problem. Valuable input will be appreciated.
Please note that I am pasting it here from Microsoft Word so it may not come out exactly as it is on paper. And the XXXX signifies numbers.

i've always been told not to include an objective statement (this is from people who work in HR that have told me this). also, do you have any classes that will quality for VEE credits? if so, i would include that on your resume
    "i find it hard
    to explain
    how i got here"

I think you can clean up your education section. I would include your high school and some honors there if you were involved with anything. You also need to state how many courses you've taken in your major like this, GPA: 3.75/4.0 (4 courses). I would keep the objective but make it stronger and more precise for each company. Also, put that you're a candidate for BA, May 2010 instead of "expected in 2010." I'd put "Professional Experience" rather than "Work Experience."
Planned and managed the effective running of volunteering events
Communicated the events planned to 25 other members of the committee
    Participated and headed volunteering events
The 3rd bullet above is redundant.

Take it to your career services office for feedback as well.
