    Ideal EA 1 exam calculator

Hi guys, Iím new to the actuarial profession and even newer to this site so Iím sorry if my question has been asked a million times. Right now Iím use to using those TI graphics calculators from being a math major, but since I can't use it on the EA1 exam, I was looking at:

    BA-35 Solar
    BA II Plus
    BA II Plus Professional

The description of the BA-35 Solar sounds like everything I need but Iím afraid itís a cheap calculator and Iíd be better off with the more expensive ones. As they get more expensive to they retain past functions as well as contain new ones? Or are the more expensive ones a big waste of time? Mainly, i want to make sure the BA II PLus will do annuity due calculations
as well as Amortization balance and payment-to-interest calculations?
I desperately need some advice here!

    Thanks for any replies!

    Rob

OK, anyone? For any exam what calculator do you use? I only want to konw becuase i have never used a financial calculator in my life. As a math major im use to the huge graphing calculators that are considered cheater friendly to the exams.

Any advice on a good calculator is greatly appreaciated.

I've never looked at an EA exam so I have no idea what functions you need. I think all of the calculators you listed above have the functions that you listed.
