Question actuarial science a good major for a future actuary?

I love math and want to be an actuary. I plan to go to a university in Ontario, Canada, and get a under-graduate degree in actuarial science... will this properly prepare me to be an actuary?

Also, do you think there will be good job prospects in the next 30 years? (I'm only 14 right now )

    Thankyou for your time!

    Future for Actuaries

An actuarial science degree will help a lot. Tackle the toughest problems you get in math (even if they're not assigned). Job demand for actuaries has always exceeded supply, likely there will always be a need for more actuaries. :smiloe:
