I got a "4"......... cant figure out what went wrong with my preparation. Was disappointed when I discovered that I was not able to make it but have started studying once more and will sit in Nov...... your suggestions are most welcome
:coolman:
This is what I did:
1) I was able to score in the high 20's on many of kryzio's practice exams, and get over 21 on all of them. This is the ASM manual I am referring to.
2) I was able to score in the high 20's on The Infinite Actuary's practice exams.
3) I memorized every distribution - discrete and continuous.
4) I memorized about 4 pages of notes, including distributions and including darth vader rules, all the special formulas for deductibles, policy limits, all sorts of shortcuts, etc.
I can't stress enough how crucial the ASM manual is for this exam. I have mediocre mathematics skills. But that manual prepared me in such a manner that I could have drank 14 shots of Evan Williams and still passed P that morning.

I got a 10! I probably overstudied for the exam. I used ACTEX and ASM and worked all of the exams as if they were real. I studied the suggested 300 hours.
